spending the day together.

saturday we (usually) do not have to work. so we do lots of fun things, like eat smashburger, go grocery shopping, enjoy the fall weather and get stuck in the new trader joe traffic, go see contagion and get a little movie meal(okay that's me), go to the ward fall festival and finish the day with a hilarious(they always are) nicolas cage movie.

this weekend we got to spend some time with my little sisters, and our nieces and nephew. it was definitely an adventure to bring them all together, but we had a great time. and we got to learn a little bit about what it would be like to have four children (hint: NOT easy). but they just say the best things and you have to love it. these photos are from saturday night when we went to 'The World's Largest Halloween Party' at the Louisville Zoo, something I did as a little one. they were so good, we will have to do it again!

the good days.

saturday was ward temple day, it was pretty great. even if it was in spanish. we always feel great after the temple.  and my nephew silas came to visit. he is amazing. we also made steak, for the first time. if only i had had a lesson first.

st. james art fair.

for a long time i have waited for the saint james art fair.

it finally arrived. it was just something i have built up in my mind since childhood. probably because my mother adored it.
