it's cozy & the first advent!

It was a nice weekend spent with the beginning of Christmas decor, naps with the cat, brunch, using the new cookware Jonas got us to make schnitzel, some rain, a few black friday deals and the delivery of the last piece of furniture for the nursery. I liked it all!

37 weeks.

i won't be a california raisin person much longer (big body, little legs. ha.)
still, i haven't hit that point where i don't want to be pregnant anymore.
i have had a pretty easy time. i haven't even needed a day off work(though sometimes i wasn't as useful as others).
nope, i am just over here waiting and eating egg/ cheese biscuits from cracker barrel :)

mid november.

I truly cannot believe it is the middle of November. It just seems wrong, more wrong than ever. Anyway, it was still a great weekend. Jonas and I had dinner at PF Chang's for the first time- they aren't kidding about those lettuce wraps. I should have just ordered those! It was my day to clean the whole house and, as a finishing touch, I spray it with Volcano room spray- such a treat! I grabbed brunch from Blue Dog Bakery to go and a perfect hot chocolate on Saturday morning. I have a feeling I will be going there a lot with my little one come winter (and come baby) :) There are still leaves on the trees and they are glorious! Katze has been a little obsessed with a short black string that came off of a dress. I think it is her favorite toy ever. Jonas and I bought a juicer this weekend and tried it out. We made pinapple/ orange and grape/ pear. The pineapple/ orange was a dream, I am really not sure I can go back to buying juice. It is a completely different game when you make it yourself, it is so sweet all on its own and it is not acidic. Jonas loves kitchen gadgets (I do not because they take up my precious space!) but he won with the juicer and the raclette grill he bought. We have wanted one for a while & I am glad we finally have it. Sunday dinner was lovely with our new way to cook. It takes time and you can sit and talk while Listening to Christmas music :)

I almost feel ready to meet our little lady.

I am hoping to finish a few more projects before.

& see the new Hunger Games movie.

but it won't be long now...

& because we have always laughed about this dress(my sister wore it through her pregnancies), I wore it for a bit. I felt very large and pink haha

november.

There is nothing like having your home cleaned exactly the way you like it and making your favorite pot roast..the one that makes your house smell of rosemary and thyme. Having nothing to do but take a nap while your husband talks to family in Germany and then take a walk with a november fire sky.
