Birthday Weekend.

I love when my birthday gets here, it always means the first day of summer has come. Plus, I get lots of kind birthday wishes and a few presents :)
Over my birthday weekend I made it to 15 weeks. Jonas made me a lovely steak. I had mashed potatoes because I cannot stop with those lately. I had an ice cream cake. Jonas took me on a hike on the Red Trail at Jefferson Memorial Forest. I had dinner at Seviche. There were a few summer storms that were so beautiful. I spent one day with my family and I love them. It was good!

 

elkhorn creek.

I love to canoe, it is so lovely to float down a creek and to stop and swim. Jonas took me to Frankfort and we spent half the day in peaceful Elkhorn Creek. Having our day off in the middle of the week is the best too, there was no one around. The water was low so I just watched the fish and tiny turtles and listened to the wind in the trees. Kentucky is so beautiful :)
