st. patrick's day weekend.

Our weekend was full of goodness.
I got my long run in- 8 miles through Calvary Cemetery.
Louisville City Soccer game with our friends. Our kids had a blast playing :)
& they came to our house to play, watch the UK game and eat Chinese food.
Jonas got me an avocado milkshake from Vietnam Kitchen!
& I got to do some grocery shopping with my best friend (& without kids).
Zara and I channeled spring with herbal & floral dresses.
We took a Sunday nap together & played outside.
& completed some home projects- I just love to cross things off that never ending list.

a few days of sun.

Zara and I have had the best Tuesdays off- they were warm and beautiful. We have spent them outside and we have kept our windows and doors open for that sweet spring breeze.
We have also enjoyed brunching & getting treats around Louisville.
We are starting to feel alive again with the sunshine!

We each have an annual aquarium pass, so we had our first visit of the year. Z talks about fish all the time (she calls them do dos- how to you spell that anyway?) Now she keeps talking about going back! We had lunch at Taste of Belgium while Zara took a nap. So we ate in the car, ha. Their blueberry crepe makes me happy ! We had an adventure at Jungle Jim's and lost Zara for the first time. I saw her run and was not far away, but a group of shoppers got in my way and I turned in the opposite direction. A nice couple found her after the longest 4 minutes of my life..near the fish tanks. They told us about losing their daughter at Target once and having the store on lock down, so that made me feel better. It was still a great little trip.
