for our third anniversary, we went to indianapolis, indiana. we arrived on Labor Day and all the restaurants were closed(well, the few i had as awesome options). despite being hungry, it wasn't so bad because they have a boombozz and it is one of our favorites. after dinner, we took a walk near the canal and then had the pool and hot tub to ourselves at the hotel. we laughed and talked, it was so great to have some time away without the normal chores and worries. we really like indianapolis, they have different cultural districts. they are labeled and they all have a website so you can decide where you want to go ahead of time. on our second day, we had an awesome breakfast at our hotel and then went shopping at Circle Center Mall- thanks jonas! we also loved The Indianapolis Museum of Art between the old man telling his hard of hearing wife which country each piece was from, the hungover security guard and the art(really it was gorgeous) we had the best time. on the same grounds as the museum, are the Oldfields which include gardens and an old mansion called the Lilly House. we finished our celebration at a brazilian restaurant, fogo de chao. it was a wonderful dining experience and very delicious. i love my husband, it was a such a good anniversary!
