Since I wasn't able to catch everything, I just have a little recap of this month:
My best friend, Catherine, welcomed baby Rex. It made me so happy. There is something about those newborn babies. We also had our first snow. It was lovely and I hope we have more:
We had a couple of great date nights. We tried Rumplings, our new ramen restaurant here in Louisville. The dumplings are out of this world. Afterward, we saw the new Hunger Games and loved it. Another night we stayed in and ordered a giant pizza from Spinelli's and watched What If with Daniel Radcliffe, my dear celebrity crush since I was eleven.
We have been going to brunch at Wild Eggs on our day off together every week. It has been delicious and great fuel for all of our christmas errands. We went to the Moth Story Slam again this month. I love stories!
Jonas gave a talk in church one Sunday. He's cute. On that same day, we had a great afternoon with my brother, his little guy and my dad. My nephew is my favorite with boiled egg on his face, he ate several.I had some fantastic workouts the past couple weeks, I took that first photo when I was feeling so great. I feel so free not having to run lots of miles, but a little sad that I'm not at the same time. We received a package from Jonas' sister. There was a giant oreo milka. There is going to be too much chocolate around from now until the holiday season is over. but. it. was. good.
The photo with Lola is the only one I took during Thanksgiving. Not sure what's up with that. It was a good holiday just hanging around family. The last photo is from our walk in Old Louisville. It was super warm out one night and I was grateful.
I started a new journal, which is always a new start to me. We may have finally won the battle with our cat's fleas. It has been a long road with lots of baths, vacuuming, combing, frontline, flea powder, fogging for fleas and nasty fleas collars. Gross!
