when i was little, she talked about it all the time and acted out some scenes for me and my brother.
i remember playing with the plastic razor prop she had.
we also used to watch it on VHS, haha.
i have never seen it live but have wanted to for ages.
i found out it was playing at the jewish community center. i have to admit, i was skeptical but it was lovely! it was not amateur at all, which is what i was expecting.
the play was very well cast. their sweeney gets an A plus plus. mrs. lovett was hilarious & very talented. their johanna had the voice of an angel.
i had the best time and had some major chills through the entire performance. it was brilliant.
excuse me while i go sing along to the soundtrack some more...
on another note, jonas and i had the most delicous dinner at ruby tuesday. their salad bar is the best ever.
