So we have the most wonderful neighbors ever, they watched Z while we ran the Papa John's 10 Miler. We were able to walk to the race & that was awesome! It was so very cold, but we had a lot of fun. Somehow I even made it through the hills while keeping a steady pace the entire time (and thank you alt-j/ la roux for the beats) :) Afterward I was so cold from being so sweaty, I almost took one of the abandoned jackets on the sidewalk! This run actually worked out really well because it was my week to run 10 for my mini marathon training, but I really feed off of the energy of everyone at the race. It was great!
I took Z to the indoor playground at the mall since it was a little cold (for me, ha) to play outside. She took her turn on the slide and went up the stairs almost every time. I was so proud, we have worked on that quite a bit. We learn a lot about life hanging out with other kids.
We had a Sunday that did not include waking up for work or church. & one major blessing- Z let us sleep through the night for the first time in a loooonnnnnnnnnggggggggggg time. It was AMAZING. I completely underestimated the lack of sleep you get with a little one. We made lettuce wrap tacos and watched General Conference. Zara enjoyed naps and conducting the music.

When Sunday warmed up, we took a nice, long stroll. We picked flowers, climbed trees, met some friendly doggies and soaked in the sunshine.
