yep.
I love her.
& I love those curls.
A year ago she looked like this::
WOW.
Z is 28 pounds, 8 oz (96th percentile!) and 33 inches tall (82nd percentile). She is my big, healthy girl. She wears size 5 diapers. 18-24 month & 2T clothing. Size 6 shoe. Oh how she loves to put her shoes on :)
Sometimes this month I thought I would go crazy with all of Zara's tantrums. She cries over so many things. Sometimes it's about nothing. Times is hard.
She also does a million cute things like try to repeat words. She says hot dog, outside, dishes, MINE. There are so many words, she repeats a lot these days.
She loves to throw sand and mix her food into cups of water or milk.
My favorite are her kisses. She loves to give kisses. Often with a long "mmmmmmm muah!"
Gummy bears are her favorite thing in the world.
We love how Zara has her little rituals. Like when she drinks milk and must have a certain pillow in a certain spot. Or with her blankets.
When I come home from running or something, I often find Zara sitting nicely and cuddling with Jonas on the couch. She never does that for me. I am so jealous.
She went to nursery for the first time at church. She loves to play and interact with other kids and it is a million times easier than dealing with her in the hallway or class.
Z loves to stand on the toilet and brush her teeth while the water runs. & then she likes to throw everything in the sink.
Sleeping is still awesome. haha. She wakes up every night and we got to sleep on the couch. someday sleep, someday.
We love play, listen to music, cook and go on walks together.
While reading "Where's Spot?" (the dog) she says "noooo" when we open up each page without Spot. When we get to the page with a turtle who says "try the basket" she says "basket". Then we turn to the page with Spot and she says "wo wo wo wo wo".
She doesn't have much interest in tv. She loves hide & seek. saying "hiiiiiiiiieeeeee". She runs belly first in little races we have across the house. Z is a helper (& most of it turns into a mess, but bless her bones.) She is a Mama's girl most of the time, but she loves her Papa. Z is not the girliest girl- maybe not a tomboy either. She has a mouthful of teeth.
Food: Corn on the cob is a favorite. Pasta. Pizza. Yogurt. Smashed Potatoes. Chicken. Food is tough, I offer her everything- half the time she tries it. A lot of times she just won't eat for me. I still feel pretty frustrated, but I have hope for her future eating habits!
18 month photo dump::
One of her favorite snacks::
We cannot go to Trader Joe's without those fruit bars::
She loves to swing like this and holds on so well!::
