I don't ever buy anything at markets like this but it is fun to look. & there is a lot going on in this district. It is a great place to people watch! ::
We made it to Café du Monde. The Beignets were excellent. Z enjoyed a spoonful of sugar, ugh.
Side note- Z is not potty trained yet and this place has the nastiest bathroom with no changing table. Usually I don't mind changing her without one because she can stand, but it was so bad. Also, does anyone know why changing tables cannot be found in bathrooms in NOLA?
Rainy night at Jackson Square::
That post rain humidity, ahhh! ::
Resting with my baby::
We took a swamp tour in Jean Lafitte National Historic Park. We even got to hold an alligator::
One evening we saw a concert at Preservation Hall for some jazz! You have to wait in line for general admission tickets.We were so glad that we got to go- it was a highlight of our trip::
We had to stop for jambalaya and gumbo at Gumbo Shop. Zara was so upset by the crab claw in my gumbo that she tracked down our waitress to tell her. It was so cute, I didn't stop Zara to tell her it was supposed to be there::
