5 Months for Eleanor!

One morning this week I was feeling worried & exhausted and I was pumping in the living room. Zara had followed me downstairs from her room & she had fallen back asleep on the couch. Eleanor was sleeping on the couch too. I heard Zara laughing in her sleep and then I watched Eleanor smile. They must have been having some nice dreams. It was the sweetest thing ever. As crazy as the last 5 months have been & even though my stress level is extremely high I feel good here with this family I have made. I feel like I am still trying to find my footing but I am glad to be around to do it & to see as many baby smiles I can!

Happy 5 months to Eleanor! We are happy to have you here shaking things up!

A little Eleanor update:
She didn't have a checkup this month but no one is worried about her health.  Eleanor eats constantly- just breast milk but we did put some cereal in one bottle per day and I did let her suck on some watermelon and grapes. She probably had about 32 ounces per day over 6 or 7 feedings. She is in 6 month clothing & size 3 diapers.

E loves crinkly things.
She always stares at my hair when it is in a top knot.
She stares at many things with such care & interest.
E always smiles with her tongue out.
She loves cats- something we discovered at a cat cafe where she laughed for the first time! She gets very excited when she sees any cat & she reaches for ours.
Eleanor has laughed at Zara too! It is so sweet. Zara talks and plays with her pretty often & has started to become protective.
She is congested and drools all the time. For the 3rd month straight.
E does not like laying on her back so she is always doing little crunches to lift herself up. When that gets old she cries until you pick her up. I hold her so much when I am home, love my baby!
She seems like she knows her name by turning her attention to us when we say it.
E slept through the nights exactly two times this month. Usually she still wakes up one or two times though. She also loves to wake up in that hour that is too close to my alarm to go back to sleep but far enough away from it that it makes you feel like a truck hit you.

Zara helped Eleanor try some sweet potatoes. Oh my.::
