Saugatuck & Holland, Michigan! (part one)

We spent a weekend in Michigan for their Tulip Festival. We were going to go last year but it was cancelled due to the pandemic so it was just extra special this year...

I love to go jogging in the mornings when I travel. It is a great way to explore and appreciate a new place! The Mildred Peterson Nature Preserve was right next to our airbnb, it's very peaceful & was my route to sweet little Saugatuck...

Saugatuck has all the charm...

We started our Holland tulip adventure at Centennial Park. Very lovely Victorian era park & very cold. The whole weekend was pretty cold!...

We spent some time at Window on the Waterfront for so many more tulips. We walked around/ played/ ate/ dealt with tantrums & enjoyed the charm of downtown Holland...

Our last stop of the day was Nelis' Dutch Village, a kiddo theme park celebrating the Netherlands. My nieces took my girls on the carousel many times & everyone enjoyed feeding the animals until we were all too tired & cold to go on...
