they have been on my 'must see live' list for a long time. so it was really exciting when jonas surprised me with these tickets. for many years i have listened to peter, bjorn and john. their music has really meant a lot to me & sometimes my mouth just waters when i listen. i could go on about these guys, my favorite albums and why i think 'living thing' was underrated but i won't. instead, i will just talk about the great time i had with my amazing husband.
before the concert we had dinner at jim block. everytime we go there, i always forget that i cannot finish it. luckily, i don't think jonas minds. it was still really good and we got free garlic bread when they messed up our order. i know that doesn't sound cool, but it's germany. normally the mentality is not to please the customer- but it was a great change. & there was mayo with the pommes, this i will miss.
i was way too shy to ask them for this photo but jonas is so brave. and i still appreciate this even if he convinced me to turn the flash on beforehand.
the venue was the smallest ever. and jonas was so good to come early with me so we could be front and center. p&b came into the crowd a few times and yes, i was almost hit in the head with instruments. i loved it. i feel bad about using the flash on them too, especially since i have a strong aversion to it. but i did, shame.
john offered part of his banana. no thanks.
j- it was funny when the girl next to us was swaying like a tree in the wind. it was the best being so close to the band. i am glad you didn't care when bjorn's sweat ended up on you. im sorry we lost our full hearing. i love that you got my play list autographed.
thank you.
i had a blast.
