one year since I met her.

What a privilege it has been to be a mother for an entire year. Especially to my wonderful, beautiful Zara. I can honestly say that I love her so much, it hurts me to my core. Our relationship and our family are so sacred to me.
One year ago, when she was placed on my chest, I was unprepared for the love and the intensity of creating a life. I am grateful to know this bond. I am in awe of life.
It is such a bittersweet day. I love the joy of birthdays, but ouch, time is so short. I wish I had a little more.
Zara has brought unimaginable blessings to her Mama and Papa's lives.
