Santa's Safari 2019!

Santa's Safari is one of our new Christmas traditions. It has all the best Christmasy things- hot chocolate, cookies, carols, Mrs. Claus reading The Night Before Christmas and a visit from Santa. Plus we are obsessed with our zoo, we love any excuse to visit.

I keep telling Zara that any Santa she may meet is carrying out the altruism of St. Nicholas & that all of her gifts come from Mom & Dad and we are giving to her in that same spirit. She still believes in him a little and it doesn't take away from the magic in my opinion. She still loves to visit Santa and even brought him a little chocolate Santa. Before we left, we visited some exhibits and the stations that are part of the safari event. Z received a stamp at every station & got to learn about a different animal. ::
