I have wanted to do Tinkergarten for a while now but there were never any classes close to home that were on my day off..until now! It may not have been my best idea to start this as soon as I was back to work but I do appreciate the experience. We learned a lot about simple, beautiful and creative things you can do with household items in the outdoors. I also love what Zara's leader said on the last day- that things are never perfect when the kids play but it teaches us that it does not have to be. It can be messy and imperfect. I have been trying to internalize that in life so it was a good practice for me too.
It also great to just be outside and focus on playing. I love to watch kids explore and play to process life and to have fun. It has been so interesting to observe Zara. I hope she always plays and enjoys life like this in one way or another.
