Tar Fork.

I had a great adventure with my girls this weekend. We spent a couple days at my friend's cabin with her family. It was so special to drive through eastern Kentucky to a place with no cell service & spend time outside with some lovely people. It is in such a beautiful place & definitely makes me think of what Daniel Boone said, that "Heaven must be a Kentucky kind of place."

I wish my girls had a creek to play in all the time, there is nothing better:::

Zara had a blast playing with some other kiddos, making crafts & drinking sunny d. She also sang "Into the Unknown" for a talent show. :::
Eleanor doesn't usually leave my side which was sad for everyone who wanted to play with her:::
Zara LOVES Aunt Brooke::

We stayed in the nicest hotel at Carter Caves State Resort Park, They have super clean hard wood floors in their rooms. A+++++ Zara loves a hotel room, she would live in one if she could. Here is a photo of my girls on the balcony with a view of the forest::

War paint that the kids made by crushing creek stones::

We sure are thankful that the Hamilton family let us be honorary members & join their party.
