time for cheer!

our annual tree getting/ holiday home decorating day(turned into two days due to adulting, ha) was beautiful! we had lunch in the car while zara napped. we went to reardon's for our little tree. now the house smells extra good and feels extra cozy. we put the fragile ornaments on top, of course but besides the first day, z has not pulled as many off as I thought she would (so far).

 I have wanted this nativity from pottery barn for a couple years. I found it half off this week and jonas agreed that it needed to become a family heirloom. it is so special to me:::

 december 6th was st. nikolaus day! We set our shoes out in the morning but I gave zara her stuff after we got home in the evening. she loved the random candy and art book that jonas picked out for her::

 the tree is decorated and our hearts are full. we have been listening to so much christmas music. singing zara is the cutest thing::

 I can't have a tree skirt because the cat pees on it. ugh!::
