zara on her birthDAY!

to celebrate zara being two years young, we spent the day together (jonas had to work but was with us in the morning & evening). it was perfect. we continued jonas' family tradition of singing "happy birthday" and having some cake in the morning together.

we also gave her a new kitchen & stuffed dog::

my last meal before zara was born was at dragon king's daughter. i have been craving it a lot lately, ha. it seemed fitting to eat here. plus, zara loves their chicken katsu quesadilla. she was on her best behavior during lunch, seriously so cute::

we spent a couple hours at carmichael's books. it is such a magical little bookstore::

after a nap & some errands, we went to the festival of nativities at our church. i love this painting::
