journal of an october weekend.

Friday:
After work, I had my 'long run' & it was rough. I had some of the worst cramps of my life and had to go back home for a few & get some tylonel & my phone crashed in my last mile. so frustrating. but I had a delicious veggie pizza and Transylvania 3 waiting for me. So I took a bath with Z- I love a clean baby in fresh pajamas :) We never finished the movie because Z and I fell asleep holding each other.

Saturday:
Ah, I had one of the best mornings in a while. I woke up early and watched an entire 20 min. sitcom by myself. Then I went to a free yoga class at my favorite studio (502 power yoga) for Belknap fest. I am sore in the best way. It was nice and cold out, I listened to Rilo Kiley, got myself a treat and ran to the library.

We went to Foxhollow Farm's fall festival for the first time. It was so perfect for Z. She played games and made so many crafts (scarves, a spoon doll, sand art, made a pumpkin face & painted part of a mural). We had great, local soup. Explored the fire truck which was perfect for Z because she just learned all about firefighters at school (& likes to say you call "991" so they can save you). We also picked a few pumpkins.

Saturday night we had dinner with friends & shared pumpkin cookies and chocolate torte.

Sunday:
Church felt like a millions hours long this week and it didn't help that there was traffic getting there and back. I felt so tired after I made lunch, I accidentally took a nap. When I woke up, I decided to go for a jog with the Iron Man athletes- ha. Southern Parkway is so perfect for running next to them without getting in their way. They always inspire me- I am very impressed! I finished a Halloween display and finished up a few other painting things around the house.
As always, it was way too short!
