We had our Fall party at church & my sister came while her older kids were at a dance in Louisville. Zara dressed as a little cat and loved the games and trick- or- treating. I have been keeping myself super busy lately so it felt like a huge task to stay up late the night before the party cutting peppers for a white chili. I made warm pumpkin cookies right before the party. It was seriously frustrating that the chili wasn't warm enough & my cookies smashed together in the car. I take a lot of pride in my cooking and using the freshest ingredients. So yeah. Ugh, rant over.
I have been going to yoga every other week- even that small amount makes a difference in my life. After my practice this week I went to Target in my sweaty clothes with Z in her pajamas & whiskers from the night before (she had been with her babysitter.) We were such a mess but accidently made it to Paw Patrol trick- or treat. Zara is really loving life right now with all of this candy.
We carved pumpkins- Zara requested a cat and Minnie Mouse. Jonas had to deliver Minnie Mouse- that's a tough one. We loved them for the two days they weren't rotting :)
Zara has made a fort (she calls it a 'rawr place') or an obstacle course almost every day. Then she gives me a flashlight and I announce "Presenting--Baby Rawr!" & I announce all of her moves. Our dining table is Pride Rock.
Z will not touch pumpkin guts::
We had our annual zoo visit with dinner at our favorite- Taco Luchador- first.
